NBC Olympics coverage will begin with the US Olympic Trials starting Thursday. NBC will broadcast on Universal Sports with 16 hours of Olympic Trials. The NBC Olympics coverage offers 50 hours of trials including primetime on NBC and USA.

What do you think of NBC Olympics sports coverage in the past and how do you think they are keeping up with new trends in sports broadcasting or online news and interactive availability?

One of the more popular sports channels is Setanta.com which is based in the UK. Setanta Sports TV offers live sport on television available on satellite, cable and broadband. There are viewing options to Sedanta sports TV via DirecTV, DISH Network, Globecast WorldTV and most interesting, high speed Internet.

Of course most of the Sedanta sports  is what’s popular in the UK, mainly, football (soccer), rugby union, rugby league, but also some AFL (Aussie rules) and GAA (Gaelic sports).

It’s a fantastic way to stay up with sports and pick and choose your favorites. What does NBC offer that’s similar, free or subscription based?

How do you think NBC Olympics could be provided via Internet and interactive selection instead of 7 days straight of gymnastics?
