The Cubs Sox game has become an eagerly anticipated play off series, with the Cubs and the Sox capturing the national micro attention span for longer than a few sound bites. Two crazy Chicago teams with untold crazy supporters go head to head in the Cubs Sox six of nine games.

 

That’s makes 11 years of this series between two leagues and is hard-fought between players and die-hard fans alike.

ESPN airs the Sunday night game and FOX TV affiliates choose between the Cubs Sox game or the Mets Yankees game. Most of them will be airing the Cub Sox game.

In 1906 the White Sox beat the Cubs 4-2. then the cubs won the World Series in 1908. Now 100 years later the Cubs have not won since.

The White Sox ended 88 years losing streak by winning the World Series in 2005.

So Wrigley Filed hosts the ongoing saga of who’s better. Cubs or Sox? Cubs get the home filed advantage after the Sox return from Florida where they won 3 games against the Pirates. But both teams will be at less than best strength with players on both sides disabled.
