LG Dare At Verizon

LG Dare is a newly announced handset to be offered by Verizon. The LG Dare is one of 3 new products for Verizon. Other LG cell phones announced were the Vu and Decoy, but it is the LG Dare that will be the most interesting touch screen model to go up against competitors.

The LG Dare brings to Verizon wireless an iPhone and Instinct alternative. The Dare has a stylus as well as a virtual on-screen keyboard, a 3.2 Mpx camera with low light capability, bundled editing and publishing software.

Verizon will include V-Cast in its service plan. It is expected to go on sale this summer and provide an array of applications, downloadable games, ringtones, and streaming music.

VZ Navigator provides direction instructions. It has Bluetooth but not WiFi.

With 3G capabilities and Verizon’s V Cast music access plus multimedia operations, the LG Dare looks to be a strong challenge to Apple iPhone sold by AT&T.
