Once you step foot aboard the USS Lexington US Navy WWII aircraft carrier you become a part of US Navy history.
The USS Lexington is docked in Corpus Christi Bay, across from the ship channel in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas.
You can work your way through the maze of tunnels and compartments of the ship. There’s plenty to explore and find on the way.
The USS Lexington Museum is open seven days a week except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Museum Opens at 9:00 a.m. Ticket sales close at 5:30 p.m., and the Museum Closes at 6:00 p.m.
All tours are self-guided and involve climbing steep stairways; so comfortable clothing and shoes with non-skid soles are recommended.
