MTV has finally announced a premiere date for the new season of Run’s House, the reality series that sheds light on the life of Rev. Run, also known as hip-hop music pioneer Joseph Simmons, and his family. Get ready for an all new season of Run’s House, premiering Wednesday July 16th at 10 PM ET/PT. The House That Rap Built Rev Run and the family are back for an all new season of adventures.

Last year on season 4, Rev Run’s daughters Angela and Vanessa Simmons launched their own shoe line called Pastry by Run Athletics. The collection proceeded to blow up in the urban streetwear category, grossing $15 million in its debut year.

The reality show features the family of Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, founding member of Run DMC. Run is presently filming the new season of MTV’s Run’s House, he is also working on the upcoming film Rap Therapy, a documentary about the life and mission of Blake Le Vine.

The whole Simmons family has been busy, with son JoJo working on a hiphop album and newly adopted baby Miley. In the upcoming season 5, the Simmons sisters will be grinding their expanded line of Pastry handbags and clothing as well as more shoe styles.
