What is about the Clint Eastwood Spike Lee spat that seems so petty?  Clint Eastwood makes a couple of movies, among many others, that Spike Lee takes exception to because they are not black enough?

Give me a break. We are supposed to be all color blind and then racists like Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton keep picking on the scab of victim mentality by continually pointing out our differences.

Maybe Clint Eastwood is no saint. Many a Hollywood elite has put their foot in their mouth. Some have realized their innate prejudices and publicly apologized.

Does Clint Eastwood owe an apology? The two movies Spike Lee questioned why blacks were under-represented were "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters From Iwo Jima".

The latter is an account of Japanese soldiers in World War II. No blacks in that story. Is there supposed to be a token black anyway?

The former movie is a story of soldiers as well, from the perspective of 6 specific men at war. How many persons of specific ethnicity need to be included there? Someone gets left out.

Now Spike Lee is promoting his own movie "Miracle of St Anna". Guess what. It’s a story about all black soldiers fighting in Italy. Does Spike Lee have a token white in his movie, to be balanced?

Spike Lee fired the first shot with a racist accusation. Clint Eastwood dismisses it. Lee comes back with another racist attack.

Who’s stirring the pot here?
